About The Event

His Grace, The Most Rev. Prof. Daddy Hezekiah MFR, founder and leader Living Christ Mission, worldwide, will be celebrating his International Spiritual Golden Jubilee in the Lord on Monday, 25th December, 2017, at the Administrative Headquarters of Living Christ Mission, Owelle-Ebo Layout, Inland Town, Onitsha, Anambra State of Nigeria.

This Great Prophet of the Most High God was called to the Lords vineyard in 1967 and since then, he has shown total commitment to Godliness, by serving God and humanity selflessly and stainlessly, for the past 50 years.

Suffice to inform you that the first segment of the said International Golden Jubilee celebrations was held on Sunday 15th October, 2017, at the International Conference Centre (ICC), Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, in conjunction with the governments of the Republic of Zambia and Central Africa Republic, in which dignitaries from across the globe graced the occasion, including past and serving presidents of some countries, as well as diplomats.

Historically, Daddy Hezekiah was born at Calabar, to the royal family of His worship, Late Chief Nze Obadiah Amadi Agubata Onukaogu, who was a retired Magistrate/Chief Superintendent of Police, trained at Wakefield College, UK and Late Madam Mary Onukaogu (Nee Okanu), both of Nkwerre, inNkwerre Local Government, Imo State of Nigeria. Daddy Hezekiah (Then known as Young Victor), began to display extraordinary attributes right from his infancy. He attended St. Paul’s primary school and, St. Augustine’s Grammar School, both in Nkwerre, Imo State. He later proceeded to the University of Zambia, Lusaka, where he studied Industrial Chemistry. The stages of life of this great amazon are saturated with desirable and conspicuous positive exceptionalities.

Indeed, Daddy Hezekiah founded Living Christ Mission in 1983 and was incorporated in 1985. Hence, the kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed, which is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown, it becomes the greatest of shrubs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches (Matthew 13:31-32). The birth, growth and development of Living Christ Mission are comparable to that of the biblical mustard seed.

The internationally-revered man of God returned from Zambia to his fatherland in 1980, after his tertiary education and was posted to Inland Girls’ Secondary School, Onitsha, for his National Youth Service Corps. Therein at Inland Girls Secondary School Onitsha, he formed the Students’ Christian Movement, waxed stronger in prayers, holiness, righteousness, wisdom and knowledge of God and from then the golden fish had nowhere to hide.

Indeed, the young Victor’s intellectual prowess, organized teaching skills, sense of dedication and professional competence endeared students to him. The greatest was his incomparable personality of being human, humane and humorous. Sequel to his excellent behavioral comportment, great wisdom and mighty evangelical exploits, especially the miracles of healing the sick, raising the dead and controlling the rains through prayers, people of goodwill besieged the school, on daily basis for his payers and counseling, as the news about him spread like wild fire within and beyond Onitsha. The prayer sessions were initially held inside his one-room apartment until the place could no longer accommodate people. Then, they moved to the school larger hall.

When some people, including some so-called men of God noticed the great exploits he was making in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they became envious and jealous and started to persecute him as well as those who attended his prayers. At a critical point, when the said calculated envy, jealousy and unprecedented persecution continued to unfold tremendously, his fateful suggested to him to establish his own church.

It should be noted without any fear of contradiction, that the young Victor initially had no intention of establishing his own church. Instead, he wanted to be under the Anglican Communion, where he would be counseling and praying for people, but the earlier-enumerated circumstances compelled him to act otherwise. Hence, the origin of Living Christ Mission in 1983, (with the young Victor, now addressed and known as Daddy-Hezekiah - a spiritual name given him during his Immersion Baptism, years back), as Founder and General Superintendent of the Church, as stated earlier.

Today, under the indefatigable leadership of Daddy Hezekiah, Living Christ Mission has more than five hundred branches and fellowship centres across the globe. Little wonder, a research carried out by the International Evangelical Research Institute, tagged it “the third fastest growing church, all over the world”. Hence, LCM has a well-organized hierarchical structure, ranging from the office of the General Superintendent, the board of trustees, the council of elders, the body of pastors and preachers, to the Central Executive Council, etc. In addition, there are existence of the Fathers, Mothers, Youths and Children’s wings of the church, of which any bona fide member must belong to, accordingly. Further, Easter is the highest spiritual event of the Church while its International Annual Convention, stands as its highest physical event, with other bible workshops organized in February and June of every year.

Again, Living Christ Mission, through the instrumentality of His Grace, The Most Rev. Prof. Daddy Hezekiah MFR, completely predicates its doctrine on the Holy Bible and its teachings on salvation, holiness and righteousness and up till today, the church has not deviated from them. Also there is nothing like levy in Living Christ Mission and Daddy Hezekiah does not introduce any form of levy in the church, Instead, He shoulders its financial responsibilities up to ninety percent with the remaining ten percent coming from voluntary and free will donations of some members. In contrast, while many other men of God continuously preach the gospel of prosperity and sowing of seed, Daddy Hezekiah is interested in winning souls for God, maintaining that “Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and life and that with Him, all things are possible”. These demonstrable facts immensely justify Hezekiah’s continued life of sanctity and personality transparency, honesty and integrity. Hence, while in Zambia, God used him to perform extraordinary miracles and feats before the lecturers and students of the University where he studied. For instance, he was the first foreigner to hold the prestigious post of the Chairman of the University Christian Fellowship (UCF) and first ever to hold it up to his final year of study. During his tenure, there was a rapid growth in the spiritual and numerical strength of the fellowship as many students and lecturers were caught up in the wind of revival prevalent on campus, as both native and foreign students, together with seasoned academics confessed Christ as their Lord and personal Saviour.

* Above all, his fame in Zambia attracted the attention of the presidency, to the extent that the then President of the Country invited him to the State House, where he prayed and prophesied to him (Dr. Kenneth Kaunda) and his cabinet members, who were struck by the wisdom and anointing of the great young Christian leader. Indeed, in amazement and gladness of note, Dr Kenneth Kaunda said;” Victor, this good thing you brought to Zambia, please take it back to Nigeria”.

In continuation, the emergence of Princess Chukwunazaekpere Favour Nwachukwuzitere and Princess Onyinyeomachukwu Divine-Gift Samuel to the ever-prestigious household of Daddy Hezekiah and above all, the family of Living Christ Mission, is something to really thank God for.

Again, beside the emergence of the great Princesses-Chukwunazaekpere and Onyinyeomachukwu, there are other great achievements recorded by Daddy Hezekiah since His 50 years of divine call, which include: two magnificent temples in Onitsha (its Administrative Headquarters) and Nkwerre (the Spiritual Headquarters), respectively, with that of Onitsha possessing about seventy-five thousand sitting capacity. Indeed, the temple at Onitsha appears to be one of the largest across the globe, with an ultramodern state of the arts.

These temples projects were financed single-handedly by Daddy Hezekiah, without any local or foreign assistance. In addition, there are many ongoing capital-intensive projects, being executed by the same mighty man of God, across the branches of the church. Such include: The Jehovah’s palace, the Hezekiah’s palace, the Living Christ Mission Palace, the Princess’ Cafe building, the Church ultramodern convenience and more than ten mighty Guest Houses, all situated at its Administrative Headquarters, constituting what is today known as the “Living Christ Mission villa”.

In the area of education for the masses as a prerequisite for human development, The Most Reverend Professor Daddy Hezekiah has established a string of Nursery and Primary Schools in various parts of the Country. Equally, worthy to mention is the gallant emergence of the great “Hezekiah University”, situated at Umudi, Nkwerre Local Government of Imo State, which is the first and only private university in the state, anchored on academic excellence with good morals and with lowest tuition fees, amongst private universities in Nigeria.

Further, Daddy Hezekiah is a great philanthropist, whom more than 1000 indigent persons benefit from His scholarship scheme, up to the University level. Not only that, he builds houses for the indigent widows, widowers and orphans, who are members and non-members of his church, according to perfect will of God. Also, more than 2000 persons are accommodated and fed from his coffers, on daily basis. As a notable man of generosity, he foots the hospital bills of many who are incapable of doing so, according to the will of God. Above all, he is a quintessential crusader of justice and celebrated fighter of injustice in contemporary society. Hence, he legally defends the infringement on the rights of the hoi polloi by the wicked, through court of law. To the glory of God, Daddy Hezekiah has indeed transformed the lives of many persons, who would have been hopeless in life today. Accordingly, some of those who benefited from his scholarship scheme are medical doctors, professors, seasoned lawyers, engineers, architects, surveyors, successful business men and women, notable evangelists, etc. Daddy Hezekiah is a detribalized Nigerian, who contributed a huge sum of money for the rebuilding of a mosque shattered by bomb blast, in Onitsha, few years ago. Also, he donated 30,000 US dollars to the United States of America during the September 11 attacks in 2001 and 20,000 US dollars to the Israeli government to help it to take care of the displaced Christians from Southern Lebanon and in the fight against terrorism. His method of imparting the Word of God to the hearts of men is not only confined to Bible reading, teaching of the Word, training of Pastors, but also includes musical renditions of which the Original Famous Nkwa Group International and the Temple Band have blazed the trail in Nigeria’s Christian music genre.

Hence, in recognition of Daddy Hezekiah’s outstanding socio-economic and evangelical exploits, the Federal Government of Nigeria honoured him with the prestigious award of the “Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR)”, during the administration of the late President Umaru Musa Yar ’adua, on 14th February, 2008.

In conclusion, it is in recognition of all these empirical facts and God’s unquantifiable love for Daddy Hezekiah that have necessitated the historic International Spiritual Golden Jubilee Celebrations on Monday, 25th December, 2017, at the Administrative Headquarters of Living Christ Mission, Owelle-Ebo Layout, Inland Town, Onitsha, Anambra State, by 10am, of which the chief speaker of the day and celebrant will be His Grace, The Most Rev. Prof. Daddy Hezekiah MFR, Lion of the tribe of Igbo (Odum Ebo Igbo), Chancellor/Proprietor, Hezekiah University, Umudi. Special guest of honour: Princess Onyinyeomachukwu Divine/Precious-Gift Samuel. Chief Host/Mother of the day: Her Honour, Princess Chukwunazaekpere Hephzibah. Hence, all people of goodwill, friends and well-wishers are cordially invited to this epoch making international event.
